Objective: This course will enable the participant to enhance their knowledge in Manual and Computer-Aided (CAD) Pattern making, Grading in the garment industry having an ambition to improve them. In the age of technology, this course will offer the recipients to have an advantage in the competing market.

 3.Introduction to Fabrics

Types of fiber and their Properties

Types of fabric

Fabric analysis

Idea of consumption and factor affecting consumption

 

  4. Manual Pattern Making and Grading

Drafting technique and geometrical drawing

Pattern grading, pattern control, fit and drape

 

   Items :                  

Top: Basic Shirt, Jacket, Hooded Jacket

T-Shirt, Polo Shirt, camisole

Bottom: Basic Pant, Cargo Pant, 5 Pockets denim,

Bermuda, Skirt

Under Garment: Panty, Brief, Camisole etc.

 

  1. Computer-Aided Design

Introducing CAD Machinery

Use of CAD tools

Develop a pattern using CAD soft wear

Digitize Pattern and Grading

Check marker efficiency

Software converting technique
